The Intellectual Property Cell and Symbiosis Law School, Pune of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) organized an IPR Sensitization workshop for faculty members of Symbiosis Institute Technology (SIT) on 28th February 2018.
Introductory remarks were given by Dr. Shashikala Gurpur, Director, Symbiosis Law School, Pune where she motivated the faculty and researchers of SIT for considering publishing later after they have ensured filing for potential Intellectual property through the IP Cell. It was then followed by highlights of IP Policy, SIU.
Following topics were covered in the workshop:
Dr. Rupal Rautdesai, Associate Professor of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Mr. Amol Sapatnekar, Teaching Associate and Patent expert, Mr. Priyank Gupta and Mr. Deepak Pawar of Strat Juris Partners which is a lead Intellectual Property Law Firm in Pune, were the resource persons.
Approximately 120 faculty and research scholars attended this workshop. The workshop was interactive and dealt with several doubts of the participants regarding protection of their Intellectual Property. The venue for the workshop was at SIT conference hall.
