Symbiosis Law School, Pune organized a LLM Dissertation Camping by Prof. Dr. Matthias Pierson on 19th January 2016.
Dr. Matthias Pierson has worked for several years as a corporate lawyer and since early 2000 he has been as Chair of Business, IP & Competition Law at the Brunswick European Law School of Ostfalia University. He has written two books in German, one on IP Law and another on Internet Law.
Prof. Dr. Pierson had one on one meeting with the LLM Students of the Science, Technology and Innovation Law students, who are researching in the area of Intellectual Property and Competition Law.
Dr. Matthias Pierson being an expert on intellectual property law, business law, anti-trust and competition law, was received very well by the students. He too enjoyed the one on one discussion on the areas of research that the students were carrying out.
Overall it was an excellent opportunity for the LLM Students to know about the Intellectual Property and Competition Law perspectives from a German expert.
